NJSBA 2026 Annual Meeting and Convention

1:30pm – 3:00pm

Greenbaum Partners Robert B. Hille and Steven Nudelman will be on the faculty for a presentation on “AI in Construction Arbitration” at the New Jersey State Bar Association’s 2026 Annual Meeting and Convention. The program is scheduled for Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 1:30pm – 3:00pm at the Borgata Hotel, Casino & Spa in Atlantic City.

Construction arbitration is inherently complex, involving extensive technical materials and expert analysis—areas where AI can improve efficiency. This program introduces commonly used AI tools in construction arbitration, explains how they support advocates and arbitrators, and explores the ethical considerations of their use, concluding with a demonstration of the American Arbitration Association’s AI Construction Arbitrator.

Bob, a past President of the NJSBA, is a civil and criminal trial attorney who represents clients in litigation in state and federal courts, and before federal and state administrative boards and agencies. His areas of concentration include professional liability defense, professional ethics, disputes involving healthcare providers, insurance coverage matters, white-collar criminal defense, regulatory issues, and legal issues associated with the use of technology and artificial intelligence (AI), including those related to professional ethics. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Civil Trial Attorney.

Steve, a past co-chair of the NJSBA Construction Law Section and chair of the firm’s Construction Contracting & Risk Management practice, has comprehensive experience navigating all aspects of construction project lifecycles, from advising on project delivery systems to negotiating and drafting complex construction contracts, including contract administration. As a litigator, he provides representation in state and federal court disputes and local or international mediations and arbitrations, with expertise in matters including construction and design defects, professional malpractice, lien claims, and regulatory violations.
