  • Prior to law school, Meredith worked as a legal assistant in a New Jersey law firm representing clients in various environmental and historic preservation litigation matters, including those related to the preservation of Buccleuch Mansion, Traders Cove marina and the "Tillie" mural in Asbury Park.

Representative Matters

  • Represented a national manufacturer of pet foods in complex, long-running federal securities class action litigation arising from alleged misstatements in the company’s public disclosures, which culminated in a certified class, extensive discovery, and a settlement of approximately $10.1 million before final judgment.
  • Represented the New Jersey Schools Development Authority in long-running condemnation and environmental remediation litigation, securing recovery of more than $4 million in escrowed funds to reimburse cleanup costs incurred by the client.  
  • Assisted in the representation of Carlyle Towers Condominium Association, a 280-unit luxury condominium association, in easement litigation concerning critical vehicular and pedestrian access rights, securing summary judgment upholding a 1973 Master Deed easement and preserving essential access to the property.
  • Represented a nationwide shingles manufacturer in decertifying a previously certified consumer class action alleging breach of warranty and product defects, significantly reducing exposure.
  • Represented a professional services firm and its principal in a malpractice action, securing summary judgment dismissing all claims.
  • Represented a publicly traded company in a putative securities class action, securing dismissal of the complaint in its entirety and affirmance on appeal.
  • Represented a pharmaceutical company in a putative securities class action, obtaining dismissal of all claims at the pleading stage.
  • Advised a pharmaceutical company in an SEC investigation, securing a no-action letter and avoiding enforcement proceedings.
  • Represented a national standard-setting body for financial accounting standards in patent litigation challenging an alleged accounting methodology, resulting in complete dismissal of all claims.
