At Greenbaum, associates are viewed as the next generation of firm leadership and are developed with that future vision in mind.
As a mid-sized practice, we combine the sophisticated work of a national firm with hands-on autonomy as a vital member of a focused litigation or transactional team.
From the outset, associates are given early and meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to clients, courts, and transactions. They work closely with partners and senior attorneys on active matters, gaining critical experience that includes drafting substantive filings and agreements, and participating in hearings, depositions, trials, closings, and client meetings.
We expect a great deal from our associates, and we match that expectation with real investment. Associates receive ongoing mentoring, regular feedback, and access to professional development programs on topics such as persuasive legal writing, effective and efficient document review, and best practices for discovery demands. Our goal is to help associates become confident, capable lawyers who understand not only the law, but how to serve clients effectively and build lasting professional relationships.
